Early family experiences and adult relationships

The aim of this workshop will be to explore the way in which early experiences in the family influence the adult style of relating emotionally and sexually. The workshop will consist of two modules or sessions, each one lasting 3 hours. It is recommended that participants attend both sessions as there will be a continuity between one and the other. Each module will be divided into two parts. In the first part participants will pair off and engage in an "guided inner tour" of their personal and family history (using as base the so-called "Adult Attachment Interview" *). In the second part they will discuss as a group what they have personally experienced in the first part. The workshop will be essentially verbal and conducted in English and Spanish. * The Adult Attachment Interview is known in Spanish as "Entrevista de Apego para Adultos".

How to we perceive another person's body?

The aim of this workshop will be to explore the way in which we perceive and react to another person's body, particularly when verbal and visual communication are bypassed. The session will be divided into two parts. In the first part participants will pair off and engage in bodily communication exercises. In the second part they will discuss as a group what they have personally experienced in the first part.
